Philip is a partner in the Tax Department at Matheson.  Philip advises multinational corporations doing business in and from Ireland on all aspects of corporate tax.  He advises on corporate reorganisations, inward investment projects and cross-border tax transactions as well as transfer pricing matters and tax disputes.

Philip is a member of the Irish Taxation Institute, the Law Society of Ireland and the International Bar Association (IBA).  Philip is the national reporter for Ireland for the Taxes Committee of the IBA and has spoken on tax panels for the IBA and the American Bar Association (ABA).  Philip is an author of the ‘Doing Business In Ireland 2020’ guide published by Chambers and has acted as Branch Reporter for the Cahiers prepared by the International Fiscal Association (IFA).
